Sad to see a 10 year old car race against brand new cars made within the past 3 or so years...
but... since this is the last year of the S2000 good to see how it stacks up against the competition a decade later

Honda doesn't need to watch.....they are leading the next wave in autos....green technology. The Insight, the upcoming CR-Z, i-DTEC.....new performance will be measured in who is getting 60mpg and not 0-60.

That S2000 driver was terrible. He was taking the turns so wide you could have passed him in a city bus.
Plus those other cars are much faster.

First, I would say the fact that they EVEN are putting the S2k up against cars that are out of it's class says a ton about the S2k. The fact that it even hung with these cars says even more. I personally would have expected it to beat out the 135, but the difference of the two could have just been driver. Sometimes I too think these things are fixed to make the car they want to do well, do well. Never the less the 370z is pretty impressive for the price, performance wise I would argue one of the best bang for the buck. But for that $ you get a car that is less raw than the S2k, not nearly as nice looking, no top down fun, has a horrible interior IMO, and it is not a Honda. I for one would not trade my S2k for a 370Z

Enough of these Honda are you watching shit. Honda knows where its business should be heading instead of being told by minority sport enthusiast.
You bought an s2k for what it is.
Honda did not force you to buy.
If you don't like, there are plenty of other choices to get into.
