I think the coupe is a great looking car- I think the hatch version is hidious. Minus the front end, it looks like a caliber.
I prefer the current hatch to the current sedan, but if that's what the new one looks like I'm pretty disappointed. I'll go test drive one out of curiosity, but this design (if real) looks way too much like the Impreza, especially from the A pillars back.

article says the 5 door will be JDM. Tom Doll said sedan only for USDM. The jury is out for a few more months until the formal announcement. The only spied testing car at the ring and in the hills of LA has been the sedan. If this 5 door makes it it'll be my next car.

I agree. I looked at one at the auto show this year because my brother wants on for his next car. I was floored by how bad it was, looks like a economy interior from 15 years ago. Any Kia interior is better. Subaru has to know it is a problem that needs serious fixing.
