I never thought the day would come when Honda would be so lazy as to just take a bigger and less exciting engine and just throw it into the Si. 0.4 extra liters for 4 horsepower? Just wow. Taking one out of Toyota's playbook I see.

They upgraded the brakes on the Si, which is great. Interior looks a little disjointed to me, what with all the angles and lines that are thrown at it. They're all slightly "off" with very little fluency at the junctions. The center vents are at different heights, the nav screen is horizontally aligned but the dash has a slight upwards angle to it, and then the whole center stack is canted as well. It just doesn't seem to flow as well as the current one. That said, I'm still waiting to see it in person to make a judgement...

They've also increased the wheel/fender gap, I think. The 8th gen had a lower look to it, overall.

Exterior styling is definitely more daring than the current one, what with all the new lines and curves. I'm not sure if it works as well overall but again, will wait to see it in person. I hate the new tail lights on the sedans (very Camry-esque) but the coupe tail lights are much better. I prefer the new nose on the coupe as well, I think.

Sure, go ahead and ignore the 31 extra lb-ft of torque that they got as well...

Hmm. I hated the initial photo release I've seen here before, but I kinda like the way it looks on the website.
Either way, can't deny the fact that it's a tremendous value for the money.

Well at least there's finally something to stand up with the rest of the competition, but frankly, the new Focus looks killer.

The sad thing is the new SI redline from 8K in the old Si down to 7K. The good thing is the extra TQ though.

@ 22K, I can't say that the Civic Si is a good buy. Now if it was under 20 (like $19,5 or so), then they would have something going.

The display really intrigues me. From a drivers standpoint I hate it. From a technological evolution standpoint I love it.
