Damn, car prices in Canada are jacked. As much as I love Vancouver and the province of Quebec, it's good to be an enthusiast in the U S of A

I pulled maintenance records for this vehicle:

18 months into ownership the following was done/diagnosed:

- Oil Leaks (maybe filter wasn't on tight enough)
- Manual Transmission Fluid replaced
- Rear diff oil replaced
- brake rotors machined
- replaced rear brake pads
- brake fluid replaced/bleeded

Then 2 months ago, accessory belt tensioner was faulty and replaced.

Does this point towards something else I should be wary about? Will I be faced with bigger problems later on?

It's higher milage (52,000km for an 06)

Rear tires replaced, fronts need replacement now, as do spark plugs.
So that's $25K for 31K miles '06 with some questionable maintenance and needing tires?

Hell, I'll sell you my 15K miles, '06, excellent condition, brand new tires (< 100 miles), 18" SSR, OEM wing/lip, silver/red& black for the same price

Belt tensioner has happened to a few others, so no big deal there. Everything else looks normal and points to a conscientious owner that paid to have the car properly maintained.

52K kms is nothing (32K miles). You should have no worries.

Ja, but to get it from Florida up here and registered would be crazy much too. Thanks though..

If you were in East/Western Canada I'd be in touch.

I wonder how much

I got a quote on a C6 from Canada, and it was under $2K, though I forget the exact location in Canada.

Good luck, I wouldn't rush it, there are plenty of outstanding, clean examples of S2000s a'plenty out there.
