Your the one who read Boxster S impractical and stopped reading soon as you saw that, if you had continued reading you would of seen why I said it was impractical...
He does that all the time...

The best choice for my money...
02 Boxter S
Well it has the P-car "status" and it is used, no thanks, status means nothing to me, and any ways, look at it; it's ugly compared to an S
02 SLK320
This is a 2-seater, but it is not a sports car
04 350Z
No thank you, this car is heavy, tall, frumpy and I just hate the interior, especially the door panels

Im the idiot?? Your the one who read Boxster S impractical and stopped reading soon as you saw that, if you had continued reading you would of seen why I said it was impractical, for one because to change the oil you can't just drive down to your local Jiffy Lube you have to take it to a Porsche dealership, which where I live the closest one is 3 hours away, and it also cost a lot more than a normal oil change. Yep so I'm the idiot.
and you said you were 3 hours from a P dealership, where???
you do realize that the LOF intervals on a boxster are double that of an S2000, right?
if the name fits....

Test drive them. Whatever car you feel confident behind is probably the right one. I'd lean towards the S2K or the Boxter for those very reasons.
. . . then again, I'm starting to realize that I have curves where I live, so straight-line speed isn't the end-all-be-all it is for other folks.
I found the 350Z, while having a great motor, didn't hang in the corners as well as the S2K. The 350Z felt bloated compared to the S2K. I do think the g35 Coupe is a great GT car though. . . serious long-haul hi-speed cruiser.
Facing Boxster service intervals made me take the S2K. However, if you have a maintenance hook-up, then give the Boxster some serious consideration.
