The TL does come with bluetooth. So does a TSX now, as well.

The RL is out because I feel that a TL would be better bang for the buck.
Not for nothing, but some might not see these two cars as in the same league. They have similar power and interior size, but the RL is superior in many ways to justify it's price. The RL is the flagship model for Acura. You could say a SRT-4 has more bang for the buck than a 330i it's true but are you looking at bang for the buck? Chrysler/Dodge have 400-hp V8s for under $40K.

I'm not a fan of 250-hp fwd cars. I'm not too keen on any fwd putting down more than 200-hp.

I believe fwd is better suited for smaller engine light cars.

the infiniti has received tons of accolades and high praise. i love the cts v a lot but it lacks leg room in the back. ive sat in the m35/m45 because my dad was lookin to get something around that price range, and i have to say that they are amazingly powerful, rigid, and the feel is just perfect. and the interior will blow you away when you see it in person. in the end my dad got a land rover because he wanted the extra space. a lot of those cars dont have a lot of leg room, i.e. cts/5 series/etc. Definitely go test drive an m35. They are wonderful, and you get AWD

[QUOTE=QUIKAG,Feb 8 2006, 09:31 AM] Jason,

The GS430 is a touch more than what the OP was looking for.

This may sound absurd to you, but why don't you check out a Jetta GLi with DSG.

That way your wife can have an auto, and you can have the best manumatic transmission that currently exists.

I like Avalon for extremely quiet engine, I was on a street corner next to Taco Bell and an Avalon zips by me within 5 feet making no sound at all, it was like a ghost fly by. With a good stereo system, Avalon would be a good long distance car. But the styling is a little bland.

Jetta is too small. The car is mainly being used as a DD but I do use it when my son is with me.

I am so confused its not even funny. However, at present it looks like:

1. Passat 2.0
2. TL.
3. G35.

The G35 is impressive on paper. However, it is 4 years old. I hate to buy a car that will be outdated in 1 year. Any idea when the replacement is coming?

I am going to Dallas this wknd to testdrive.

TIA

The G35 i think is being redesigned in 07. I saw the "concept" pics in Motortrend. It will have a headlight that looks more like the M35 and the rear end has the sharp should profile (think Bangle butt). I do think the front is a tremendous improvement. I never liked the current front.
