If your boss is looking for something as rare as an Aston Martin I would recommend looking further afield.
There is the place in California:

Sorry if the cross country is too much. But if your boss is shopping Aston's maybe he can hop on a flight to check them out.
If I find more, I'll post more links.

as long as it's not a db7 he's looking for. albeit the new db7 vantage/zagato/gt are looking to be nice cars.
nevertheless, V8 Vantage V600 is the only way to go. it is Aston Martin in its purest form.

actually, i would say the DBR1 is the purest form, but if jojipoji's boss is looking for something one or two years old, i'd absolutely go V600.

alex do you have that Road & Track from a while back with the "Best of Britain" 0-100-0 article?
(sorry for going slightly off topic jojipoji - great avatar by the way)
They tested 8 British cars as the title suggest from 0-100mph-0. The two top cars were both Astons.
The Vantage 600 (twin SC V8 - 600bhp 600lb-ft) coming top and the V12 (~427bhp) second.
The test included the following:
* Caterham Superlight (the 193bhp one before the R500 came out)
* Jaguar XKR
* Lotus Elise 190
* Grinell (sp?) Scorpion (three wheeler)
* Morgan Plus 8 (this thing skipped and jumped all down the track)
* Rover 200 BRM
I'm pretty sure that was the order too.
Pretty impressive for the Aston's, the Caterham far out numbered them both, in the power to weight department. Look how far aerodynamics and great big ABS brakes will get you.
