An IS250 vs. S2000? Do you really need 4 doors? Because the performance factor is going to be night and day. I just find it hard to understand why someone would cross-shop a roadster with a sports sedan. You either have a need for more space and/or comfortable commuter like the IS250 or you don't. If you really want the performance and fun of a roadster, go for it. It's only another 3 weeks.

Plus, if you're going from a 325i to a IS250 they'll be around the same feel (size weight power etc..).

the S2000 is a sports car, more power than either and weighs 600 lbs less, plus it's a vert and handles very well.

Maybe I should just find myself a young girl and forget the car
Um, no. I think the S2000 would be less problematic and cheaper in the long run.

i would try rosenthal honda in tysons. back in 03 when i bought my s2k the same thing happened.. i ordered my car from fairfax and 2 days before i was to pick the car i was informed of another 3 weeks delay. funny thing is rosenthal group own fairfax honda, rosenthal honda and landmark honda, and my color combo showed up in rosenthal within a week. i bought it august 03, i even got it 900 cheaper from rosenthal, i paid 29.7 otd.

on a side not i would consider the legacy gt ltd. give it a try , test drive it.. you might like it 250 hp, awd, 5 spd, navi, 4 dr sedan, leather, less than 30k ,

goodluck

Thanks for all y'all's advice. Although I would really like to get the car, I don't feel right about rewarding Fairfax Honda given their mendacity. I think I'm going to rescind the deal and either renegotiate or try another dealer. I hope my dealings with Fairfax Honda aren't indicative of a prevelant problem and is only an issue with the particular salesman who "sold" me the car.
