Well thus far, its kind of a slug off the line....granted i have the a/c on 24/7 in LA . Another huge difference is the gas on this thing. Its killing me compared to the S. Overall tho, I'm really happy with the purchase. I give it a few more months b4 every Tom Dick and Hank has one. These days, I might see 1 other on the street at its usually a 325 .
I thought the new 3 has better mpg than our S.

I don't think so. Looking at my gauges, my average mpg is 21. With the gas prices right now it costs like $40+ to fill up this damn tank . I totally forgot what the mpg for the S was. This i6 just eats gas like no other....

Hey! I have an E90 330i also, got it in June, have about 4,000 miles on it now. I've avg'ed about 26 mpg with lots of highway and lots of aggressive driving around town, so I'm pretty happy with the mileage. As far as mods, I've seen some guys over on Bimmerfest that lowered it, so you might want to go check the E90 forum there. I find it more useful than e90post.com

Oh, and it's an I-6 =)

Yep, I just left L.A. after spending 3 weeks there. The weather there was perfect compared to the shit here in North Carolina. L.A. was cooler, less humid, and more sunny.

The 330 posted is pretty nice. However, the BBSs are starting to look dated. I saw them on some 1990 Maxima and they looked horrible.
