My Z4 in the Dec. '14 issue of Bimmer magazine

Not sure. I tried to dyno it but the dual clutch and traction control system is NOT a fan of the rear wheels moving without the front wheels moving no matter if you turn off the DCT or not so couldn't dyno it.
Now having said that... Others with similar mods have dyno'd their 335i and came up with numbers like the one below. The only difference is they have upgraded turbos which coincidentally enough are done by my friend here in Saint Louis. I mean literally, people from all over the world send their turbos to my friend Rob Beck and he's known through out the BMW N54 community as RB Turbo. I just haven't pulled the trigger since I don't keep my cars for long. First world problems I know but problems none the less.

It's a nice looking car. How much power do you suspect it's making?

Well, that's a car with an upgraded turbo, which I would presume makes a sizable difference, no?
Could you use an AWD dyno to test your car?

The upgraded turbos dyno chart doesn't really apply much to what a bolt-on stock turbos N54 will do IMO. The torque curve is much different since the tiny stockers taper off toward redline pretty severely IIRC. There shouldn't be too much difference between how much power the N54 puts to the wheels inside a Z4 vs. a 335i, unless there's a big difference in drivetrain loss.
From what I've gathered on the bimmer boards it seems like DCT is the weak point when adding power, and one should find out what the supported torque rating is on the tranny that's specific to your car's model before proceeding to make a ton of power over stock, which the N54 can easily do. Full bolt-ons and E85 will make any N54 car basically rape faces. I'm getting all jittery just typing this out lawl. Z4 with 3 pedals and full bolt-ons and E85 (I have an E85 station 3 miles from where I live)...full of win.
