Default my VR4 has a very S2000-esque power band

So a combination of strange mods and tuning choices on my build gave my 3000GT VR4 a very different power curve than stock.

Look how linear my HP is. My torque is also relatively flat (aside from where I go super rich at 5000rpm, which if I correct is going to give me gobs of power I'm sure). Driving the car it no longer feels like stock or normally modded VR4s, it feels so much more like an s2000 now, its kinda weird. Not much going on down low, but up at higher RPMs it screams. Totally different from how most of these cars are set up.

Nice

I've always liked the VR4. Was one of my favorite cars back growing up. I would have thought you would have made more power. Of course I haven't ever seen a stock power band in comparison.

More power eh?

I'm running lower boost than factory and making a good 80awhp more than a stock car does This was at 10psi, factory boost is 12 A stock car puts down about 230awhp thanks to drivetrain loss.

I'm currently limited by my fuel pump (stock and crap, just like the s2000 one oddly enough). At 12psi I made 350awhp by 5000rpm but had to abort the run because it was out of fuel.

Ok then. I retract my previous statement. I'm sure it is a lot of fun to drive. For some reason I had stock as 280 or so at the wheels. Brain fart I guess.

260+ ft-lb of torque at 3000 rpm isn't very S2000 like.

What mods do you have done, and what do those cars weigh?
