maybe you meant 545i?

or 550i?

not for 40 grand.

40 grand buys you a 5 series with the weak engine. The M35 is way, way better for the money.

with all these cars supporting dvd audio, I would expect to see more discs at best buy or wherever. Has anything NEW come out for DVD audio. With it being heavily adopted in luxury cars, I think DVD audio will beat out SACD.

Here is what you get for the money! Try getting this in the BMW!

Holy Video DVD! This was a discovery I found doing a search on google for DVD Audio. TRY DVD VIDEO TOO!! The catch is that you need to have the parking brake on. No worries, there is a Switch toggle hack for it. Rewire two wires inside the center console and you have DVD Video on your navigation screen in front in 16:9 aspect ratio.

Now I can watch adult videos while driving!

you may be confused on what dvd audio is. it is NOT the audio from a dvd movie.

dvd audio is a 24bit audio disc that happens to be on a DVD. A dvd player will NOT play it unless it supports the dvd audio standard.

Yeah I know, but it does play the dvd audio from the movie "Chicago" in 5.1 sounded great. Now I'm off to find DVD audio.

That's very easy to do in any BMW with nav. Granted, it doesn't come standard from the factory and will cost you extra.

Congrats on the car. I prefer the 5 series in general but the M35 is a better value.

And, um, where would your "BMW Assist" button be located? Oh yeah, in a different car! Just making fun.

I love the elegance of creamy-colored interiors, but I like the dirt-hiding capability of dark ones better. =/

Regardless, the Infiniti M is the car to roll for between 45 and 60k.
