Some of the comments in here are pretty funny I especially like the comments about the air vents. Have you guys ever seen an Audi before? Did you happen to know Lambo and Audi are part of the same family now? Take a look at a first generation TT, then look at that interior picture again.
Lambo and Audi are sharing all sorts of stuff. How do you think AWD got into the Gallardo? How do you think the current 4.2L V8 got into the RS4 and S5? And the big question - how do you think Lambo became a more reliable car?
Chris - thanks for sharing! That's a hell of a find. If that deal came across my plate, I'd have jumped all over it.

Not that I don't agree with your general point, but the 4.2 V8 has been Audi's engine for ages and has never been in an Lambo. I think you meant to say how did the V10 get into the S6/S8/R8 v10.
Anyways, I'd put an RSN-E back into that dash if I were him, just to get it back to OEM spec. Also, I with Ferraris there are some tricks to making the older F1s shift smoother, such as software updates and very careful adjustments to the clutch. I wonder if the same might apply to Lambo's e-gear?
