previous owner made a pretty decent choice on the head unit, i'm not blaming him either.
so i guess i'm hating on the dude who did the installation?
but then again, it might be the previous owner's diy, who knows.
(b) dude, it's 2004. who cares about '04 gallardo, except those who considers "look at me, i drive a lamborghini" factor more than anything.
$70k is good deal alright, but it's not that "amazing, once in a life time" deal like you think.

Last year my friends showed up at my doorstep with a yellow Gallardo and a red Murcielago. Looking at them next to my house was pretty funny...the two combined were probably worth more! Anyway, awesome cars. I don't think they're worth the hundreds of thousands of dollars that people spend on them, but I suppose if I had money like that I'd think pretty differently.

Another reason to buy an early model year Gallardo is to mod the hell out of it. Underground Racing builds monstrous twin-turbo Gallardos. You want an exotic that can walk an Enzo? Early Gallardo is the best place to start.
but then again, i don't think that many early model buyers have balls/wallets big enough to get the turbo kit.
or do they... hmm...

The full build TT (including a complete engine rebuild (reinforcement)) costs around 60000 dollars unless you get the UGR 'R' kit which is something like 1500 HP and costs about 100k dollars.
So since the engine and drive train are rebuilt/reinforced if you spend 70k on an older car then have it's internals made new you have a 1000+ hp car for 130k. The ones built by Heffner and DLM have been proven to be reliable to date with daily drivability until you get on them and then they get squirly. So squirly in fact that the people that had changed to rwd on their g's changed back to AWD because they couldn't put down the power on 2 wheels.

Pray, do tell, what IS a "amazing, once in a life time" deal for driving a car in YOUR opinion?
