I have had streetbikes, but the only other offroad bike was an old enduro when i was 16, and i sucked at riding it off road due to its weight.... but this thing is 170lbs and has 7+ inches of susp travel..... I have only jumped about 2' off the ground so far, but hopefully i will get better (just got it tuesday).
it is a TTR125L (L whooohooo)... anyway.. it goes about 50mph and can do wheelies in 2nd gear.... i will probably flip it about a hundred times trying to ride wheelies.....

Congratulations on your acquisition Scot! This bike can be a real riot when approached with an adventurous and willing attitude to learn. Attaining a smooth(ie;safe),yet quick riding style on 125's requires lots of practice. You'll find that mastering the skills necessary to be competetive in the dirt will make you a much better street rider as well. ie; the ability to read the road ahead, picking the best line, obstacle avoidance, predicting the unexpected, setting up for the optimum drive out of the next corner, etc. Offroad riding has a way of throwing curve balls at riders, sometimes, most unexpectedly.
ENJOY!
