I would argue their isn't another track quite like the 'Ring.' Also, I don't think they really wanted to show off a clapped-out chop-shop victim looking S2000 to everyone.

I don't think their intention is to "show off" anything - the purpose is to create hype, IMO. And putting out an S2000-clad, mysterious new car is certainly doing that.

Yeah, it's not to show off the "S2000" but to create commotion about what's underneath that S2000, to show the world they are serious about creating something new in the future.

They were the first to dial in a road car in the Nur with the NSX piloted by the late great Ayrton Senna, so I guess they are keeping with tradition?
