Sorry I havent been following this lately .. so can anyone tell me why the hell it looks like an s2k-ish instead of the concept? Please dont tell me the final version will look anything like htat.

Because they're testing the mechanicals - chassis, suspension, engine, whatever - and don't want to give away what the car really looks like. Similar to the black coverings other makers put on their cars.

Maybe this is not the new NSX maybe it is the New S2000. They already have a final design of the Next Gen NSX body wise why would they not use that? They are probably using this S2000 because they will be basing the new chasis off of the older one. Ap3 anyone?

The thing is -- you don't go to the Nurburgring to test engines. You go to the 'Ring for one of two reasons: either you want to test the suspension, or you want to show your car to the spy photographers. Anyone's guess which of these is Honda's reason.
