True, but if you'd look at the exhaust tips in the spyshots, the quad exhausts are super super small, and the top ones seem to be plugged. Maybe it was super muffled or something.
And I was also talking about ur reference to the suspension looking soft, I got full confidence it won't be, I mean, they do have a chopped up s2k body, so ridgidity probably is no where near it's potential for that chassis.

It's fairly old tech used to muffle otherwise offensively loud exhaust, used on "straight-pipe (no muffler or cat) when at risk of a noise ticket or to prevent flame shooting out of the tail-pipe. Before the spring thaw and trees budding, fire danger is very high, so it would be no surprise if the caps were track-mandated, probably for noise as only one set was capped. Once the leaves came out, you wouldn't need to restrict exhaust on the track as much.

Man, if Honda is just teasing us with this, and still comes out front engined, they just shot themselves in the foot. I didn't mind it being in the front, but after they got half the world wishing it was MR, or at least speculating it may be...it needs to be MR.
Look inside the hardtop...I can't tell what that is behind the driver, but it looks interesting. Look how there's a bulged portion near the rear window and cover.

Seems like everyone is using the 911 TT as the benchmark. The Skyline GT-R is using it as well.

Does sound like the real deal. To me, I think Honda is just testing the engine, seeing how it behaves under hard track conditions, dialing in the power curve and gear ratios and seeing if there are any heat soak issues right off the bat. For this kind of early test, you wouldn't need the exact car it's going to be in, and since they said that they're reworking the sheetmetal of the car anyway, I'm sure they don't want to lose valuable time in developing the guts of the car. No poing in testing the suspension until it's actually on the right chassis and sheetmetal that it's intended to be on.
The sound can always be changed, I mean just look at Nissan's VQ engines. A v10 is always going to sound good; besides, it isn't like anyone has never changed an exhaust and intake on a honda.
