The subject of this thread is far off-topic for this subforum. I am extremely offended by the content herein, I will be notifying Slows2k that my feelings have been seriously hurt - if not damaged beyond repair. I truly hope the TC and everyone involved in this thread gets banned.

Trash talking has always been a part of this forum. If the admins want to stop that, it's their forum, but don't just randomly ban the guy unfortunate enough to be the first person to post as we've all always posted. I think a sticky thread would have been more appropriate. Really, I don't have a problem with the trash talking. Everybody's going to use a little bad language about something they're passionate about, and it's that passion that makes Car Talk so great.

Thank you in advance I know it is not easy being an admin. We believe that a good contributor of our subforum (CarTalk) was unjustly banned. His comments, while inflammatory, are par for the course in CarTalk. We ask that you or the powers that be reconsider your action and place everyone on notice in CarTalk that further inflammatory comments will not be tolerated.

Punishment definitely didn't fit the crime. Grenading one of the more 'senior' contributors to this section is a quick way to turn this place into a graveyard even more than it currently is nowadays. This place is a FAR cry from what it used to be which is why I rarely visit anymore. Banning people like Mr. EG will just exacerbate the situation.
