Moving up from a 600
#31
Its a legit challenge to any squid who mastered a 600. I have a 425 Motard that I havent even ridden. Any track in South East: Barber, RA, Jennings, Tally, RR, VIR..whatever. its great to embarrass big ego's.
My last track day was on my 250:

I understand what he is saying, he didn't master it or close to it but he can ride with confidence and wants more power. The ZX-14 is a serious bike, for being very big it feels very good at the turns.

he hasn't mastered @#$t!
Sorry, but if you are the same guy that almost ran over an old lady, wasn't wearing your gear because you were so close to home and didn't yet have a license at the time, you shouldn't even have the bike you do have...

I just came back from a ride in the ZX-14 and I think that bike is fine, just don't treat it like the 600 because in this one you might not survive. Talk about POWER!!!!

WOW!! wasnt this a surprise.... i ask for simple feedback and opinions and i get insults...
ok ok maybe i did use wrong context when i said i "mastered" the bike... i just didnt think the word wouldbe taken so literally... you can never master a bike completely.. if that were true that moto gp racers would never crash...
but its kind of hard when you take every turn with great speed and determination while ALMOST completly horizontal and sustain wheelies for over 5 sec... i know i have not mastered shyt simply because i am still afraid...
about the person that said i almost ran over an old lady.. the only fault i had was assuming that no one was in front of the car i blindly passed. plus that was shortly after i purchased the bike... this is 5 months later... mind you i ride my bike almost every day... not to mention weekend
im not here to start argments or problems.. i want opinions and facts... not statistics and insults.
i think i only saw two posts in this whole thread that answered my question directly....
NOW, let me rephrase this.... What bike do you guys think best suits me at this stage... Answer seriously or constructively, if not then just keep your fingers off your keyboard.. thank you
