You know the more I think about it the more I wonder if it isn't just worth the extra $4k more to get the legalized EVO 8 JDM version that has all the toys? You skip all the BS dealer mark-ups.

i read in British car mag that the American EVO VIII may be more tossable(fun, neutral) and behave more like VII than new J-spec VIII BECAUSE of the new, "too effective" active centre diff and active yaw control. We may be better off.
