Mom needs a new ride
So after thousands of dollars in repairs and maintenance on my mothers 04 745li she's decided to sell it before it gets any worse. She's looking for something new or used for 35k tops. Right now her first choice is a g37 coupe (what can I say... She likes it). She's also looking at 05-08 Acura RLs which is what I recommended.
Anybody have any experience with the g37 or RL? Or can someone recommend a car that is luxurious and sporty but not German for around 35k?

My vote is for the TL. It has everything she needs minus the reliability issues and heavy repair price tags prior to 100,000 miles.

SHe wants sporty and luxurious, WE can assume she doesnt mind 4wd since he listed the RL both have plenty of amenities both are easy to drive You can even set the EVO X MR into full auto, seems pretty luxurious and sporty to me.
My suggestions would be RL or S60/S60R or Lexus GS/GS-H. Coming from a 7-series, I'd think an IS would be too small for her, but the G37 isn't significantly bigger so maybe she'd be OK with one. The Lexus ES is pretty ugly IMO, but I like the GS. And the GS-H has some sweet off-the-line torque.
