Modifying a WRX
What is the fastest these cars have been able to go with modification? How much would it cost to get these cars to run in the low 12s or high 11s? Is there anyway to put a 6 speed in it? Thanks

These cars can easily achieve 300whp with just bolt-on modifications... you'll need
1) high flow intake
2) At least a 3 inch exhaust
3) BOV
4) Intercooler piping to replace the factory rubber one
5) high flow fuel pump and 550cc injectors at least
6) Fuel management system ( AEM, Apexi power FC, Mines VX rom )
7) Boost controller ( MBC or electronically )
8) external wastegate ( for applications above 400hp)
9) Turbo exhaust manifold
10)aggressive camshafts for turbo applicatioins ( HKS)
11)Silicon hose to replace the stock ones on the one on the intake manifold and intercooler
ps... the 6 spd transmission is ultra expensive.. somewhere aound $7000 USD..

Low 13's-High 12's = Pretty Inexpensive (External stuff, CAI, Exhaust, ECU upgrade/Boost Controller, Throttle Body)
Low12's-High 11's = Pretty Expensive (This would probably start getting into major turbo swaps, engine builds, etc.)

Yes, from what I understand, these cars are relatively easy to make faster. It doesn't cost as much to make this car very fast (as if they weren't fast already) than some others out there.
