Pretty sure I'd take this over an STI any day. For a daily driver, definitely take it over an Evo, too!

One can hope that the new 4motion is advanced enough to help it handle like an EVO while retaining the hatchback practicality of the STI.. We will see.

Golf R's aren't about sheer performance. The GTI/Golf R never was a top performer. They were always about the overall package.

Resale on the Golf R & GTI is pretty good actually. & reliability isn't the only factor when looking at a car. Shit your acting like STIs are dead reliable
