If that type of spoiler is proven to be far superior to what we have on the Evo road car and such, I can see nothing but good things from mounting it more forwards on road cars too.
I personally think it looks strange (all unexpected things do) but very very refreshing and welcomed. It is there for a reason.. and that is to kick ass.

i saw during the 03 WRC that tommi mikanen was driving subaru, and mitsu didnt even compete... i wonder whos gonna drive the mitsu in 04? maybe he'll come back and win the 04 wrc for mitsubishi like he did all those other times

that is one bad ass rally car.... still... i would love to see tommi back in a lancer... for some reason, he just fits in a mitsu..

This is a pathetic attempt by Mitsubishi if they really wanted to get back onto the podium. Manual shift (!), no active diff, no sixth gear (I don't care what they say, its necessary, especially on some higher-speed rallies). They also cheaped out on the suspension set-up and brakes.
2004 will belong to the Focus WRC, I'll bet on it.
