Default Is The Mitsubishi Eclipse Even Offered In Japan?

My friend's been asking me to check some JDM parts for his '02 Eclipse... in most of the Option magazines, I just can't find this car!!! Is this car even offered in Japan or is this a USDM?

Thanks.

I think they make a FTO, it's like the eclipse...FWD same power plants with additional power...

As far as I can tell... nope, its not.

I was trying to dig my way around their Japanese websites and I couldn't find anything about the Eclipse.

Eclipse is not offered in Japan but they do have a few imported ones there. (Rare)

FTO would be the closet thing to it. It would be to impossible to get JDM parts because it's a USDM & Canadian car. Just like the Toyota Avalon, only for North America.

The EVO doesn't have the same engine as the 3rd Generation Eclipse. Only the 4G63 in the 1st and 2nd Gens

seriously, i think the new eclipse is so ugly, I would get the older generation even if they sold it to me at the same price. It is not offered in europe either, atleast not spain.
