Mclaren F1 GTR

seems like the car is so much more than just the power to weight ratio. buddy looked sooooo nervous driving it, like it is so much scarier to drive because the car is so much more responsive to every little input than even other supercars.

I would say the closest car available to the McLaren F1 GTR right now is this:

That must be an unreal experience to drive that car!
I find it hard to even imagine.
However, I can guess that it would likely...
a. Scare the bejesus out of me.
b. Leave skidmarks not only on the road...
c. Forge an ear to ear grin on my face for days.
d. All of the above.

Car Crazy's Barry Meguiar did an interview with Nick Mason at his garage talking about his cars. I didn't know he employed people in his garage to restore the cars.

It's breathtaking just to watch that video. That's easily the best road car ever made. Easily.
I didn't know about the short gearing, that must make that think blindingly fast. Nick Mason is a top bloke in my book, not only is Pink Floyd among my all time favorites, his car collection is among my all time best too.

that downshift is almost frightening.

Those downshifts are insane. Sounds like someone is whacking the transmission with a hydraulic press or something. Fantastic!
