I deliberated about 'lumping' the S2000 with other Honda's but it is the one true Honda sports car left at the moment. I certainly meant no insult to your cars. A friend of mine has one and I think they're great. Just a shame they may stop making them.

As for a biase in the study. There is but only a few questions. This study is being paid for and done by me and me alone, with guidance from one of the professors at Pitt. No manufacturer has dictated the questions here of that you can be sure! Some of the results could be used to reassess whether certain strageties could be changed / stopped which may not be what a certain organization wants to hear.

The more responses I get from a broad spectrum of people the better the quality of results. A great deal of the questions are market specific and with the filtering techniques I have available, I really think I have some great data on the sports car industry.

Better drive through Schenley (sp) park a couple more times before you leave Pgh. I miss those spirited drives.

That was fun but too much focus on the finance stuff.

Where was your gender question or do women not buy Lotus?

Another area to look at is the warrantee/maintenance included area.

With cars that have low percieved quality and high maintenance, adding a strong warrantee and service included features are very useful.
I didn't even think about that. That is actually one of the reasons why i chose my BMW over other cars. Lotus wouldn't need a 100K mi warranty but maybe a 36K or 45K would make a big difference. The 100K warranty is what hyundai and mitsubishi did to dramatically increase their marketability and perceived reliability. Lotus should just make a deal to have their engines serviced at toyota (or even better - lexus) dealerships.

+1, every question almost had the word "Lotus" in it. Kinda got tired of it actually, but whatever.

Finished
