I walked to the Mazda dealer yesterday with my friend and saw a couple of those...
I have to say they are very nice inside, but the exterior is just a little overdone IMO. I'd definitely take one, they are very nice.
Too bad they wouldn't let me test drive it (I'm 14 )

I liked it(RX8), my wife liked it too. She was suprised it had four doors. She's not trading in the Beemer for it though. Parked my S next to it and the S looks more tidy. The RX8 body gaps/seams looked a little wide though, the one in front of the hood is huge! Probably 3/8" or more, the rest looked wider than normal but it may have been the yellow paint. Overall I give it a 8+.

Why should we like something just because it's new? I don't like the asthetics of the new, AWD boxes either but they sure are quick.
This has nothing to do with Honda and everything to do with Mazda.
I'd rate it an 8 out of 10 for the internals but the exterior is simply vanilla and who wants to pay $33K for vanilla?
