I did encounter a Z06 / nice guy... wasn't in the mood to race. However to let you know that I'm not trying to talk shit I didn't run him because I know the Z06 is faster.
C5 however has similar stats to the M3... and I'll let you know whatsup.

What's the issue here?
Where's the logic in thinking the M3 has a chance?
Stock for stock with the same driver I'll say the C5(specifically the M6) will take the M3 95% of the time.

I found someone who knows a guy with a C5 . . . A real run is 0-100 I'm gonna mash on him. For the hell of it, I'll go from 50-140. 
I get a ticket I'm PHOCKED doesn't matter though.

My logic here is 0-60 in 4.8 / what does the C5 do?
Also Road and Track 13.0 flat M3. I heard C5 was low and mid 13's...
There has been guys in M3 and mine is an 04 that have managed mid and high 12's...

Well maybe this is a gearing issue of sorts because I just don't see how a 200 lb. heavier car with less horsepower and significantly less torque can pull better times than the other. I've never heard of a stock M3 running mid 12's. Sorry, I'm not trying to sound insulting here, but that is just absurd...you're now talking Z06 speeds.
On top of that you stated "04 M3 vs. 03 C5" and all I'm saying is that any 2001 and up model 6-speed(with LS6 manifold and 3.73 stock gears) is just not going to have problems with the M3. A bone stock C5 with a simple 4.10 gear swap will spank on the M3 no doubt.
Now I'm not saying that the race won't be extremely close but 95% of the time I'm giving the edge to the C5.
