I'm gonna take everyones word for it, and put the pedal to the metal. If I beat one the assumption will be that I was the better driver I guess.
Road and Track 2001 M3 got 13.0 quarter mile - 0-60 4.8
What are the times on the C5???

I have a very hard time believing that 333hp will get you to 180mph, especially with a not-that-great aerodynamic coefficient.

I have not lost to a C5 (non Z06) in my M3 however...I'm assuming that most C5's that I have raced are automatics and several have been verts on top of it. My boss has a 2002 C5 6 spd convertible Vette and it's very close until we reach around 90 mph when I start gradually pulling away. I make him look like he's driving an H2 when I switch cars however. I believe the M3 is capable of doing around 180mph w/o the limiter of course. It still has decent pull in the 140+mph range and I believe the gearing is there.

Sweeeet you also heard of the claimed 180 without limiter...
This is what I heard, when I get that badboy off, I'm sure it will be who has the bigger balls match.
Anything I can modify horsepower wise...

M3's are pretty maxed out from the factory as far as horsepower. A blower will help, but they're $$$$$$.
I still dont' know about the 180mph thing, just not enough hp to pull it. Maybe indicated 180, but actual, I seriously doubt it.
