Beautiful torque curve - that's about as flat as you can get.

MSRP for base model would be around 57k, add the 19'' + some basic features you are already over 63k, then you have to deal with the dealer mark up in the first couple months.

i think that's the engineering/tuning magic here... they made a high revving relatively low displacement motor have the torque curve of a big displacement motor...

Think they could make a high revving 4cylinder have the torque of a v6? If so then Honda should take notes.

No. Torque is limited by capacity. You can only 'tune' the shape of the curve once the 'torque per capacity' is maxed out.

I would say far from it. As high as torque nurbers an M3 produces ... they're are pretty low numbers compared to even an old 5.7L LS1 engine, let alone the newer 6.0L. C6 Vette. C6 (even with it's 'primitive' engine) produces 36% more torque at the peak, and has more torque than the M3 (at it's highest point) even at 1500rpm.
