I think it's pictures from the BMW owners who did a batch euro delivery on their M3s in 2002... they got to do quite a few great adventures while over there including a Nurburgring school.

One of the latest Roundels has an article on it.

Looks like the 900EUR BMW Nordschleife school that happens every August. That "turn" is one of the steeply-banked Karusells on the 14-mile circuit! One of them is a 270-degree left.

The track is split up into 10 or so sections, and drivers and instructors take turns driving each section, before reversing up the track back to where they started.

It's a 3 day event, which means for those days the Ring is closed to normal tourist traffic like me
