Second choice may be a C7 Vette if Chevy keeps improving the interior but, it's a much bigger car.
How do you know how much bigger the C7 will be vs. the S2000?

I'm surprised no one is considering the BMW Z4 M Roadster.

It basically does everything the S2000 does but better and it's a roadster.

You can get a nice 2006 model for 25K.

Plus you get heated seats, navi, good sound system, full leather interior.

The only reason I sold my Z4M was because of a certain brand from Stuttgart which pretty much ruins your appreciation of other roadsters.

But I still miss my Z4M a lot.

i have an s2000 and a saab hatchback as utility car

a)SHOULD the s2000 ever become totalled...

a1) it *may* be replaced with audi tt.
a2) im also playing with the idea of a used nsx or 987S... but they draw too much (negative) attention for my personality.
a3) more likely than not, i would replace it with another s2000.
b) otherwise, i plan on keeping s2000 for life.
c) and if the saab gets wrecked? well, ive made due with the s2000 as a DD long enough....

d) if somehow in my wildest dreams alfa exports the Brera coupe to the US... everything is going out the window. rare, understated but elegant italian hatchback? (tho it drives like poo) GIMME GIMME GIMME

alfa is coming to america and that along with fiat i am curious to see the models. I would love to own an italian car because it is different than the typical european car that is german

Well for me, the S2000 which I just got is my "toy car". fully paid off...

got a 08 Civic Si sedan, daily driver
Mercedes GL 450 SUV - family hauler
06 Chevy Corvette - love this thing.
2000 red S2000. just bought it 3 weeks ago.

next car I want is the Porsche Cayman S...well my wife wants it. and I wouldn't mind it

probably trade in the Civic Si for the Cayman S
