Lotus Emira - What do you think?

Low COG feels really unusual in a good way. I suspect this comes out slower than the Taycan with an emphasis on handling and good looks. It is after all an "entry level" Porsche product.

Porsche has already proven it can create a desirable and distinctive, albeit overpriced electric car in the Taycan. The new Macans are coming out with EV, too. An electric cayman would be a unique product in that there is no other electric sports car out there until the new Tesla Roadster comes out. The question will be how will they improve the 911 or neuter the Cayman to retain the performance gap between the two lines.
No argument about whether or not Porsche can make a successful EV. The question is can they make the Cayman/Boxster/911 into successful EVs/hybrids.
The issue isn't whether or not can they achieve impressive objective numbers, you put enough power and mechanical grip into anything and it'll do the job. Question is how fun will they be to drive. Unfortunately, people are too caught up on things that can be compared, ie show your superiority, than they are of actually driving.

I'm not sure I agree... in my mind the Taycan is more like a Panamera than a 911. It's a big 4 door saloon. There's no reason a smaller 2-seater shouldn't be lighter/faster.
