I was not able to really run the car when I was driving it. It took me about 2 weeks to talk to the dealer into letting me drive it. It felt good though. I took it on about a 10 minute drive around town. It does not have the kick that the Honda does, but the car that is coming to the states will not have the same motor.

It is a neat car, not for everyone, but it is for me. Well, I should say my wife. We will race it, so once I get it, I will tell you more. Meat can tell you about his exige, I am sure it is very similar.

The Exige is similar, but very different. My good friend has an S1 190S and I've driven the S2 on several occasions.

Very true. I wear a lot of clunky shoes and boots. I had to take them off and drive bare foot every time I drove my Esprit. That was a pain, but I think it was worth it...

Chip - Who is the dealer in Dallas that you are working with? I went down to Overseas Motos on NW Hwy. several months ago only to be told they had not sold Lotus cars in 3 years. Have they renewed their franchise!? The thought of having a "semi" reliable car with no dealer in town kind of drove me away. But now....

It is Overseas motors. They did just renew the Lotus part of their dealer. When I first posted this thread is about when they got it back. They have the elise that I drove and a esprit on the show room. I think that is all they had.
The goofy red headed gus is Kass, very nice guy. He is the salesmen that I am working through.
