This will be a 3rd car, but mainly for my wife to drive the short distance to work. We will also be racing it. I don't expect it to be as comfortable as the S2000. I had planned to drive one in Amsterdam this past weekend, but I didn't make it.
I am number one on the list. I actually have been on the list for a month now and got lucky with a dealership that just renewed their Lotus distribution. And, my friend is actually number 2. I think the list is up to 6 now. Other dealerships that I have been talkeing to have about 5-6 on them as well.
I have heard the rep about being an unreliable car. That is one thing that I am going to investgate since I am 300 miles from the nearest dealer.
We will see though. I have 12 months to look into it.

iispms, when you get that thing you've got to at least let me sit in it for a fun run. I've wanted one for years. I believe Meat already has a yellow Exige. He can tell you a lot about the cars.

That car is too cool. Should be a blast to drive (especially on the track).

Take a look at my sig....
If your wife wears dresses/skirts, she won't like this car....
If you are 300 miles from a dealer - you better be handy in the garage or know someone who is! These cars have "personality".
I might get one - but that would mean the S2000 would have to be sold and I'm not sure about that yet.

I saw that you had an exige, but was curious if you were going to get an elise. I didn't think the exige was street legal, but I could be wrong. I have heard about the personalities, so I am prepared to do the work on it. I already do it on the S2000.
We are going to go to Scotland or Amsterdam in the next few months to take a drive in a UK version. A friend of mine was over there last weekend and told me about the size of the car.
There is not a Lotus dealer in New Orleans, but Houston and Dallas are not to far off. I am getting the car from Dallas.

What the hell is "extra urban?"
There's a Lotus dealer in West Palm, it's soooo tempting to call and say, "Sign me up!" Must... Resist... The wife would probably shoot me if I brought one of those home.
