I went and test drove the car today with Tidalwdave. He is #43 and I am #44 .

after me being one of the first ones to buy an evo and now would lose my ass selling it.... i may wait out the Elise....... Evo's are littering the lots, and for some reason I don't see the Elise selling that well for $39k.

Hopefully invoice is about $32k and I can get one for $33k 3 months after introduction.

Good luck on the 33k 3 months after intro. By the time the Elise comes out in the spring, all of those cars will already have a deposit on them for the rest of that production year. You likely won't find one for even $38k until the following year.

I'm #43 here in the Tampa area, but I don't want my car until the fall anyway, so that works out. I need to enjoy my S2K a little longer, I've only had it a year, but by then I'd have had it two years and hope to sell it without losing much money.

I just got on the list today in San Diego. They said it would probably be 2005 before mine arrived.
