I am looking for a new car and have been all over the place. I am currently thinking about a 335i, G8 GXP, Z51 Corvette, or used Cayman S and am probably leaning towards the practicality of a 4-door (kids are hopefully in the future). I tried to drive the G8 GXP this weekend, but the stealership hadn't gotten any yet. On paper, I would probably prefer that to the 335i since it is more unique and likely has more character (plus anything with an LS3 is gonna be fun). But, my wife and I will be passing through Munich in early June on our way home from a trip to the Greek Islands, so I am thinking I may be able to get a killer lease on the 335i through European delivery. I have already found pricing information for European delivery but cannot find the leasing figures to calculate the lease payment (I have done this before but cannot remember where I found the numbers). Any help would be appreciated.

there are also some 3rd party leasing companies that use ACV to calculate residuals. The result is typically a much much much lower money factor, lower payments, and a way smaller residual.
Probably won't compete w/ a subsidized lease, but I'm guessing none of the lux manufacturers are doing much of those anymore.
Shop around a little

Thanks. I found the March 2009 lease numbers for the 335i. 3 yrs/15,000 miles/yr, 56% residual, and .002 money factor. The 335i I built has an MSRP of $48,125 (can't believe it's not an M for nearly $50K, but I digress...), and a European delivery wholesale price + $1,000 of $42,505. Using these numbers, I came up with a monthly payment of $510.88, including NC sales tax, with a $2,500 cap cost reduction. I like the look of those numbers, but I need to drive the G8 GXP.

will they do ED pricing on a lease? They are obviously giving nice residuals and a nice money factor, so I sort of doubt they'd give you ED pricing at the same time...?

$510 isn't bad and is probably cheaper than a monthly on a G8 GXP. Tough decision.

I haven't driven the G8 GXP, but everything I've read has been great. If they have 0% for 60 and you can get a good deal, I'd get the G8 GXP too. The toughest decision is manual versus auto?
I'd consider the automatic personally as a daily driver since I'd have the manual Vette in the garage, but as an only car, the manual is definitely the way to go.
I like the 335i too for a lease. Beat the piss out of it for 45k miles and give it back.
Only way I'd drive a BMW.
The GXP will have more character and I'm obviously a big fan of the LS3 and GM small blocks in general.
