A lot of people here have made good suggestions about new cars, so I'm looking for a few good suggestions for a relatively new car. I've done some research, but am looking for suggestions I might have overlooked. Here's the requirements:
1) $8-12k price range or special low APR financing offers to $15k
2) Good reliability for commuting 100 miles each way in desert for night classes
3) Automatic Transmission
4) Good A/C and heating
5) 4 doors
6) Good fuel economy (prefer 27+ mpg highway)
7) Cute for 22 year-old blonde Southern California female
Secondary issues:
1) Ease of maintenance/working on
2) A little bit of power for merging/passing
Already considering 2000+ Civic Sedan EX, Jetta
Thanks!

Go to 7-11 or 76 gas station to buy two copies(South and North) of AutoBuys for $0.99 each. It lists the used cars sold in California. For your price range, you could get a 2000+ Honda Accord sedan.

I'm in a similar situation as this. I'm looking for a car in that price range though not only 4 doors. But a 4 door in that price range that pops immediately into my mind is a used Audi A4.
