Look at the new Buick LaCrosse in China
what they get:
what we get:
I think the people in US might acutally consider buying the car if it looks like the one in China.

In China, Buick is considered and marketed as a prestige and luxury brand. That Chinese car branded as a LaCross starts at 329,000 Yuan, or $41,000 USD.
But in the US, Buick is marketed as a brand that stands for traditional style, value, and reliablity. The US version of the Buick Lacross starts at $22,490, nearly 1/2 of what the vehicle sold in China with the LaCross name costs.
Could Buick sell a $40,000+ midsize sedan in the US? I doubt it. It does not fit their branding. That's Cadilac's market in the US.

Looks like they took a Buick and mixed it with some Audi and Lexus styling (on the outside). Not bad at all...

That is with the near 100% tariff that China charges on imported car, correct? At least HK, Taiwan, Korea and seemingly most Asian countries do this.
