Default Loki says, "Ship your car CLOSED carrier!"

Saw this at the local Bimmer dealer:

But, in the end, it probably enhanced the looks of the 6-series.

Damn when I bought my S off of eBay I did a search for different commercial carriers. They all wanted about $500 to deliver the car with a 4-6 week waiting period with an open carrier like the one pictured. I ended up finding a guy local to the seller that did it for $800 in a closed carrier (S was the only car in the trailer) with no wait time. Definitely glad I spent the extra money

4-6 weeks from one Continental U.S. location to another?? That's crazy. I just moved to Hawai'i and had my S shipped and it took 5 weeks... from the East Coast.

Back to the picture though... I'm speechless, how do you suppose this happened? My car was shipped closed container and has some grease on the rear bumper, but this... Woah!
