you have a point in some ways so take it into action... buy a early 90's civic that gets good gas millage and is inexpensive.

I think gas will be over $5 dollars in some spots this summer, with the possibility of $7-8 dollar/gallon gas across the nation with any hiccups (Terrorism, war with Iran, etc.)
