You bet your ass it's affecting my next car choice. I've been going back and forth and round and round for 6 months. Right now I'm stuck on a Si Sedan because of the gas situation when I really want to track down a used Sti Limited or wait for one of the new cars coming out for '08. If gas continues to increase in price like it has over the past few years then my enthusiast days are over until we start using alternative energy.

It's already over $3.50 for premium here. I expect that if it doesn't break the $4.00 mark here, it will get damn close.

I don't even look at gas prices anymore.
Price doesn't matter, when the car is empty, it needs filled.

The gas game continues. When gas was at $2.50, some of us said they will start changing when gas hits $3.

Now that it is passed into the $3.50 range, we are telling ourselves that we will give up gas at $4.

This will go on as long as the gas companies slowly increase the gas price with no one saying enough is enough.

Maybe you didnt see my post, but gas is already at $4/gallon where I live in California. Not going to change anytime soon.

I don't believe gas will go to $4 where I live (regular, maybe for premium).

I don't think it will determine what my next car will be, we are probably going to be getting a mid-SUV like MDX/Pilot. Hopefully high gas prices will drive demand down and I can get a better deal.
