Default Loan Question Please Give me some INFO

Sup,
I had a question for you guys since i have no idea about the topic. I have an account with a big bank an i have about 19.5k in the bank and than i have a cd with a good amount as well. I need about 3k more to get the s2000 of my dreams. So basically i am asking is will a bank give me a loan i have no job i just had surgery so still recovering. I have a cell phone an apt but no credit card so i sure my credit is ok i have nothing against me as far as loans to pay off as of now. I would pay it off extremly fast but just curious if you guys have ever been in this situation? Any info would help alot thanx peace.

It sounds like you are planning on using the $19.5k in your account to purchase the car and need a loan for the difference that is left. Since you have a CD in the bank, your best option is probably going to be asking for a loan secured by the CD. Since it is your money, they should allow you to loan against it even though you don't currently have a job. This loan will also help you to establish some credit, and should be at a very reasonable rate.

get a job first. How are you planning on making the payments on the loan, paying for insurance and gas, and other related expenses? As long as you have documented income and clean credit history, it shouldn't be a problem, but I don't know why you'd want a loan before you had a job. Unless you have an income source, such as a job you've held for a year, i don't know that any bank would swing a loan for you. Borrowing against savings is probably fine, but you still need to pay for the loan and associated costs, don't you?

Why is the car out of warranty with just 7300 miles?

nope you need a job to show the bank that you can pay the loan. depending on your credit score also will determine your interest rate and how much of a loan you can take out putting down a down will also help you out on lower payments! good luck with your purchase
