I was trying to get wantone to spill the beans on the car... hp/torque, weight, etc. Even at that, it looks a bit too much like a 911 - it could use a few more distinguishing traits.

Is it me or did the 930 and 993 turbos look better than than the 996 in a wide body kit.

Billy, if the Aston deal goes under, my dad is looking at the wide-body RTurbo - the 542hp one. Oddly, it's not the same car as the one pictured; I think the one wantone posted has a non-Ruf wide-body kit.

Basically, he's already put a deposit on the DB7 GT, but Momentum is only getting one, and they still don't know what color it's going to be. Most likely, it's going to be the baby blue that the rest of the US is getting. If so, he's not gonna get it... And hopefully get a Ruf.

I think this is the only way I'd NOT want an Aston Martin in our garage.

EDIT: Come to think of it, that may not even be a real RTurbo. There's no cooling "slit" between the headlights. The "real" RTurbo has a skinny horizontal, GT2-esque grille. The one pictured does not. Hmm...

3400S... gotta be one of my fav cars all-time. I can only imagine the sound of the engine. The stock Boxster S engine already sounds so sweet! More aggressive the better.

What I love most aesthetically of the car above... is that little Ruf badging up front. Subtle, yet you know what's up.

Yes, but the cars are so drastically changed that the aren't really "Porsches" any more. Same goes with Peter Farrel's RX-7's and Steve Saleens Mustangs.
