This might be amazing to someone who's never seen CF created before (including myself), but how much different is this from the "traditional" way it's done?
one thing people need to understand there isn't a mold of the a-pillar of the LFA that they're molding the carbon fibre on, which is how most people make carbon fibre parts. the machine "itself" is creating the a-pillar.

you can see the a-pillar in the pic.

That is amazing.

On a funny note, all the haters that are posting comments at the bottom of that page are crazy. It's like no matter how amazing something is, someone's gotta find something wrong with it

I just came back from Ferrari's homeland, and must say the way the Italians fabricate their CF is above anything I have seen or bought from ASM or Mugen that was done at Challenge. Also saw Zonda and Lamborghini. The weave was extraordinary! Seeing this Lexus loom is pretty amazing too!

that's pretty intense. but after it gets weaved is there any resin added to it? Or is it baked or something?

Tan you know it's a criminal sin to say something like that and not post pictures right?

Wow that video is amazing and I'm getting more and more amazed at what is in the LF-A. The overall car though ...

That machine is one amazing piece of technology. It's like watching a spider at work, which is a pretty amazing sight too.
