Lexus unveiled the LF-C luxury sports concept at the vehicle's world debut for media at the New York International Auto Show today. The Lexus LF-C luxury sports concept coupe turns into a convertible, speedster or targa configuration to match the driver's mood. Developed by CALTY designers in California, the LF-C gives a strong hint to the direction the next-generation Lexus IS series will take. The LF-C has a high-output V8 engine, six-speed sequential automatic transmission, 20-inch front and 21-inch rear aluminum alloy wheels and Dunlop ZR-rated Sport 9000 tires. Lexus LF-C is the third new concept design from Lexus in the past 12 months.

The idea of it transforming into multiple top-down type cars is cool, but the proportions are not right at all. It looks like it moves around on its stomach. The wheels are too far apart.
This must be what the next SC will be like. It's hard to fathom, but the SC430 is already about on top of its 4 year design cycle.
