I think the rear seats are for insurance reasons. So you can technically call it a 4 seater.
My dad had one for a couple years, nice car for what it is, a cruiser convertible.
Rod Millen made performance parts for Lexus, they used to offer a supercharger for them as well, don't know if they still do or not though.

You know when I think of stylistic works of art convertibles the Jag E type and Ferrari Daytona come to mind! When I think of the opposite of those two I think Lexus nails it with the Aztek of convertibles. I don't care if it got 100 mpg or 0 to 60 in 1 second or was for sale for 1 dollar the styling of that car makes me puke for days!!!

It is kind of a sad follow up to the SC300/SC400. I've been looking for a nice used SC400 lately...they have great lines, are extremely comfortable and are relatively bullet proof from a reliability standpoint. When they came out with the SC430...they could have at least tried to find wheels that aren't the ugliest ones on the planet. Absolutely nothing about the SC430 'works' for me....the lines don't look right...the front end is hideous but they do have nice comfy cabins.

My father, who recently retired, asked for my help in finding the perfect retirement car. After great ideas were rejected, I suggested the SC430.
