^more or less and yes that is how they sold the ENZO.
I like this idea as it rewards those who are loyal to a brand, who likely drive cars who they are to be driven, and who have the $ to back it up.
I hate seeing cars like this go to 'new money'

Here's my very cynical take:
Seems like a bunch of manufactured intrigue to me. They're lucky they can find 500 people willing to pay what they're asking. The rest is a bunch of hype to sell an illusion of excitement to the rest of us. So that we go out an buy an ISwhatever.

i mean fidy has an enzo.... and while i don't know him well, i surmise that he does not track it or hold his hands at 9 and 3.

This is $226k
Lexus could take a hike if I were in the market and had to choose one. The Lexus looks like poop by comparison.
And by "if I were in the market" does not mean I am not shopping right now, it means "lets pretend I had real cash."
But after the Ferrari you could almost buy this with the change.
No way I pick the LFA over EITHER let alone BOTH for the same coin. Both cars give me a woody and daddy wants a threesome.

Why pretend when you don't the $ and prob never come close to affording one in your entire life? People who are buying LFA don't just have 350k to spend on a car. They probably already have the cars you've dreamed of in their garage.

waits for the post implying "if you cant afford it then your opinion doesnt matter"
But I have no doubt they will sell all they build. First the rich arab car collectors will buy 80% of the stock and stash it in an underground garage filled with similar cars, Jay Leno will get his, and a bunch of other folks who want the newest rarity will buy the rest. And then drive them into salt water lagoons when they realize they should have bought something else.
